Dawn FitzGerald, Founder and President

A dedicated healthcare quality leader with over 22 years as a quality practitioner and leadership mentor, experienced in healthcare quality measurement, quality assurance and quality improvement.  I am passionate about creating an organizational mission and culture that drives success. My goal is to be a connector and to assist all those interested in making healthcare better.

As a CEO for 15 years, I led a highly successful non-profit organization, providing services to healthcare organizations in support of their quality programs. I cultivated a company of highly dedicated staff in expanding our healthcare quality improvement services and customers. Working with local and national healthcare partners and other key stakeholders, we determined the best strategies for effective stewardship of the organization. By Implementing corporate ISO9001: 2000 certification, LEAN Six-Sigma process improvement, and other organizational efficiency techniques, we demonstrated significant improvements in quality, efficiency and return on investment to our federal and state clients

I have managed over 30 federal, state, and grant contracts, including multi-state, multi-year healthcare quality improvement contracts with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). As an expert in quality measurement, I’ve served on the Institute of Medicine’s (IOM) Committee on Future Directions for the National Healthcare Quality and Disparities Reports and National Quality Forum (NQF) performance measurement workgroups.
